I was amazed by the breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace at this hostel. Everywhere I looked, I saw stunning views of the city, including Ipanema and the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. The sea-facing private room I stayed in was fabulous and the breakfast on the rooftop was sublime. The staff was extremely welcoming and provided us with helpful information about the surrounding area. Despite the location being high up the hill and the challenge of getting a taxi all the way to the hostel, it was a small price to pay for such unforgettable views. I highly recommend this hostel.

From the moment I woke up to the stunning view of Copacabana, to enjoying a delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the area, everything was just amazing. the location was convenient, with both Copacabana and Ipanema within walking distance. Despite being in a favela, I never felt unsafe as the locals were friendly and the hostel staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. the hostel itself was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Cons: Everything was great! 😊.

I chose to stay at Yes Brasil because of its convenient location near the Museu de Favela. The complimentary wireless internet access and the option to socialize at the bar were pleasant surprises.

Hard to find, in a favela and charges for luggage storage. Price bit high, but expected in Carnival time.
